Painting Exhibition on Indian ethnic paintings
P N Gadgil & Sons (PNG & Sons) Art Initiative is hosting Indian ethnic paintings exhibition in association with Kalavithi. Art lovers will get a chance to see & learn about less familiar art forms such as Taal Pattachitra, Saura from Odisha, Miniatures from Kangra, Cheriyal Scrolls from Warangal, Tikuli Art from Biharand Mata Ni Pachedi from Gujarat, in addition to the better known Madhubani, Rajasthani, Warli and Gond Paintings. Majority of these are painted using colors made from natural ingredients like flowers, leaves, roots, mineral pigments, clay and gold dust. Indian Ethnic paintings exhibition will remain open from 13th to 18th June 2017 at P N Gadgil & Sons Store Art Gallery, Westend Center one, Aundh, Pune from 11 AM to 8 PM.
